Roxanne Faber Savage   

Roxy Savage, (otherwise known as Roxanne Faber Savage) was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts currently lives and works in Connecticut and New York City.

Roxy is an interdisciplinary artist investigating female identity and domestic space. Her artworks include installation, pedagogical teaching systems, digitally activated sculpture, printmaking, photography, and time-based media. Savage’s work investigates female stereotypes through text, objects, experiences and pop culture. Making and teaching are essential to her alchemic process.  

She is an award-winning artist whose works are held in private and corporate collections and exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the United States and abroad. Roxy earned her MFA in Art Practice (2020), receiving the prestigious AP Thesis Award, The School of Visual Arts, NYC. Additional degrees: BFA, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY; MS. Ed., full fellowship, Queens College, Queens, NY. Artist Residencies & International work: Mass MoCA, North Adams, MA; The Atlantic Center For The Arts, New Smyrna Beach, FL; Weir Farm Art Center, Wilton, CT, Taller Di Grafica, Havana Cuba; Castello di Potentino (Women’s Studio Workshop), Toscana, Italy.
